The Center for Biomedical Data Science and Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) invite applications for Postdoctoral positions in the development of machine learning methods for single-cell data analysis at the scale of hundreds of millions of cells with various modalities. This position is supported by grants for transfer-learning-based single-cell modeling to accelerate AI for cancer research, as well as by the Prostate Cancer Data Science Award. The PI is committed to helping you develop a unique career path in artificial intelligence for biomedicine and to publishing papers in high-impact journals.
Requirements
- Familiar with deep learning models including RNN, GCN, Transformer, etc. Experience in machine learning and transfer learning is highly valued.
- The applicants have degrees in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Statistics, Genetics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or related fields.
- Experience in sequencing data analysis is highly valued.
PhD RA positions (fully funded): Our PhD program can accept students four times a year.
